Inspection of Underwater Heat Exchangers

Project managing the annual inspection and clean of 8 underwater titanium heat exchangers

Project managing and supervising the annual inspection of underwater heat exchangers. Those heat exchangers made from titanium are part of a system we have helped design and install in Sydney Harbour as an alternative to cooling towers for a large commercial HVAC system. Visual inspection of pipework and brackets, followed by divers inspecting the underwater heat exchangers. Over a 12 months period the ocean has a way of holding on to the titanium which then needs to be cleaned using high pressure water to blast debris build up without damaging the heat exchangers itself.
